Esbjerg Guide

Esbjerg Ferry Port

Found on the south east coast of Denmark next to the North Sea, Esbjerg Port is famous for the expressive large scale and unique art in the area. There are several outlets showcasing local artists, as well as an abundance of cafes, popular restaurants and local seafood specialists. Close to Esbjerg Port are several medieval towns, amusements parks and beaches; there certainly isn’t a shortage of things to do. The only ferry route from the port is to Harwich, a small port in the east of England, making the crossing one of the easiest and cheapest ways to travel between England and Denmark. The sailing is seasonal and doesn’t operate throughout the year, so it is worthwhile checking live updates for departure times. There are two cafes at the port itself, as well as a shop selling local products and every-day items for last minute purchases.
