Manche Iles Express operates ferry crossings between the Channel Islands, in the English Channel, and the Normandy region of France, as well as frequent inter island sailings.
In partnership with Conseil Général de la Manche, Manche Iles Express began operating a ferry service connecting the department of Manche in Normandy and the Channel Islands in 2005. Services are completed aboard their two high speed vessels named Granville, holding up to 245 passengers and Victor Hugo, accommodating 195 with a max speed of 32 knots. Both ships are equipped with airline style seats and snack bars, ideal for the short inter-island journeys, as well as duty-free shops.
Sailings run from the French ports of Granville, Diélette and Carteret, bound for the Channel Islands of Jersey, Guernsey, Sark and Alderney. Given the short journey times, with some lasting as little as 55 minutes, travelling with Manche Iles Express is perfect for day trips to France, or to the Channel Islands themselves.
