Taars Guide

Taars Ferry Port

Taars is a Danish village resting in the region of Lolland, a district on the east coast of the mainland of Denmark. The port is only used domestically, with crossings to Spodsbjerg on the west coast of the island laying off the west coast of Denmark. What is there to do in Taars? Laying home to just over 1000 people, Taars exudes a sleepy atmosphere that engulfs the village in a world of comfort and safety. Little activity occurs around Taars, it is usually used as a simple stopover before moving on to more prevalent tourist destinations. Head there in the summer to take advantage of the pleasant walking trails gracing the parks and lakes for a serene experience. A few cafes and eateries are found in the village, perfect for stopping off for quick bite to eat before embarking on a journey across the water. How do you get around Taars? The village is so small that it can be covered entirely by foot in a few hours.
